KNM exam practice: 8 themes, summaries and practice questions
Since 1 July 2025, the KNM exam (Knowledge of Dutch Society) consists of 40 multiple-choice questions across eight official themes, with an official pass mark of 24. It's not a language exam — it tests whether you know how the Netherlands works. On Inburgerify you practise every theme for free, with summaries, word lists and practice questions.

- Health and healthcare — the GP, health insurance and the pharmacy.
- History and geography — key events and how the Netherlands is laid out.
- Institutions — which authority is responsible for what, from municipality to state.
