Practising on multiple devices, for example on your phone while travelling and on your laptop at home? Then it's useful to know how progress is exactly tracked.
How does synchronization work?
If you log in with an account, your progress is automatically synchronized across your devices. This happens in the background: when you open the app, when you return to an open tab, and automatically whenever you update something on another device.
What if I'm not logged in?
Without an account, or when using the standalone Inburgerify.html file offline, your progress stays only locally on that one device and that one browser. There's nothing to synchronize then.
What if you make progress on two devices at the same time?
If you practise on two devices one after the other, then if there's any difference, the newest version of your progress always wins.
Practical tips
Make sure you're logged in on each device where you want to practise, using the same account. Give the app a moment after practising and a working internet connection to synchronize, before you switch to another device.
